Sudden insane flood of virii

Since two days ago I've been getting 70 emails a day of a virus.
You know the kind where they come from a real email address, but the email itself is blank except for an attachment?
Anyways, out of all these emails I only recognize one address.

I don't know what it means, but I'm pretty sure it's nothing.
Still interesting though.

well usually some viruses send emails to people they have in the adress book, you know?

Yeah, but I'd be surprised if he had me in his address book. I don't think I've ever really spoken to him.

i told him about it and he said thanks.

I think the current virus going around actually harvests emails from your temporary internet files.  That results in a hell of a lot more addresses than if it were to just go through the address book, and it's a lot more random.
