Redhat 9 was too slow for me, a nightmare.  Mandrake 9.1 just made me want to shoot it.  I'm using Slackware now.  

I 'WAS' going to give you a link to a most fabulous forum run by a guy I know...but apparently he's too busy with thebroken.org so he shut em down.  Sorry

If I find an equally good link for 'nix stuff I'll pass it along.
