My College just got cool. We make games.

I just became aware that my new college UMBC, University of Maryland, Balitmore County, is involved in helping those make games.  Check out this link and tell me what you think.  I may begin looking into this and tell you all about it.

Would be a nice  to take if you are interested in being a 3d artist..with slight chances of getting into the gaming industry..

Otherwise I woudln't really consider it seriouslly if it cost a lot.

The school I went to for design just started a video game program also.

Maybe once I finish paying them the 10 grand I still owe them now I can think about giving them more of my money.

The college I'll be going to in less than a month also has one, sort of, it's a degree in 3D Computer Animation: http://www.sihe.ac.uk/prospect/digitalmedia/bsccompa.htm - "this course will be ideally suited for employment as animation designer/programmers in the computer games industry"

My uni's better...   I wouldn't touch those button packs though. ick.

And if I feel I'm not quite ready when I leave uni, I amble on down here for a year or so, and it's just down the road.

This is probably the first time Canberra's been kind of cool for something.
