Can anyone help me? I want to add a news script to my webpage, something I can use to add news easily to my site from any where, nothing fancy, just something simple.

I don't want to spend hours setting it up, and dont care about delete or edit functions, just a way to add news to a webpage.

Have you tried Blogger?  Never used it myself, so I don't know about setup, but the web site makes it out to be pretty simple, and it seems to work well.  You can even allow people yo make comments and such.
