The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them
ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you
think your game has been under-rated!
| 1 Cup | Not serious entertainment |
| 2 Cups | A reasonable game, worth a try |
| 3 Cups | A good game, worth playing |
| 4 Cups | A great game, well worth your time |
| 5 Cups | An outstanding, must-play game! |
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common
for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having
a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just
getting started!
Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

Platform Horde (version 0.98) is an attempt to make an arcade game, and not an adventure game with AGS. This is still experimental, and I'm updating the download link with the latest version as development continues. This game is very simple: move, shoot, repeat. There is no story, since this is an arcade style game. It is meant to be played for high-score, and not story.
Controls: Left and Right arrow keys to move, Space bar to shoot, M to go to the main menu, and S to visit the shop. Before you begin a game, or after you've died from one, you get access to the options menu, which lets you set your own game settings.

Well I guess this is just an experiment, not a full real game.
It had its moments, nice sounds. If you plan to achieve a nice arcade / action game, you should try to do a "abuse"-like game, with mouse aiming, moving in 4 directions or more ,jumping, dodging.
Even if the sprites are simple, a little more action will improve your game a lot.
But you'll have to spend more time on it.
