The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 CupNot serious entertainment
2 CupsA reasonable game, worth a try
3 CupsA good game, worth playing
4 CupsA great game, well worth your time
5 CupsAn outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been under-rated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"A more robust followup to the original, this time with a different protagonist who is haunted by his past. The futuristic setting works to the advantage of the story for the most part, and the puzzles are logical and at times quite clever, making this a solid sequel with an interesting cliffhanger, though it happens a bit too abruptly."

A great follow-up to the first game in the series, reveals more of the world, and feels consistent with the first and hints at a deeper story that will hopefully be revealed to us in time. Nice to be able to see more rooms this time.

Great continuation to the first part, Makes you wanna play third part right now!

Great games and great ambient. Going forward to see more larger games with more history and story deep

Wow! After the great Part I, I wasn't expecting it would even get better and I'd be delightfully surprised another time. It's like the perfect mixture of adventure, role-playing game and pageturner. Hats off!

While 'Part I' had excellent atmosphere and story, this trumps its predecessor in almost every way. The story shows more oppressive atmosphere and hints at even darker undertones. The dialogue is superbly written and the graphics are an improvement.

Best of all is how this ties in with 'Part I'...

This game is a huge improvement to part one. The story builds up slowly and gets you deeper and deeper into the world of technobabylon. The puzzles are great and promote the story. Various cutscenes and the music add to the atmosphere. The immersion of this game is top. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended. I loved the first one, and this sequel is even better. The inventory puzzles were well-crafted and logical -- just the right amount of difficulty to keep you puzzling for a short bit. The writing and multiple-path dialogue options were superb. I love the world of Technobabylon as we learn more about its residents. Don't forget to talk to your partner about things you discover-- not strictly necessary for completion, but it helps flesh out the character quite a bit.

A very good game indeed. Interesting story, clever sci-fi elements, intelligent, witty dialog and good character development. I want more!

A fabulous game! Very strong writing and pacing, with amazing "retro" graphics and music. Much better than the first part; in fact, it's one of the best adventure games I've played. I would call it a flawless execution if it weren't for minor annoyances in the inventory system.

Awesome game, some of the best puzzles I've seen and has a really rich back story.

Incredibly rich depiction of an imaginary world of the future. In fact the game is so dense with fascinating information about the characters, technology and how things relate to each other that a 2nd playthrough is pretty much required to absorb the majority of it all.

If you've played TB1, you won't believe how this one connects to it. Recommended to anyone, this is a complete and utter must play!

I've enjoyed this short retrofuturistic game very much. If you've played TB1, I can only say the plot thickens a lot.
Minor remark: the inventory GUI is still a bit clumsy.
All in all: a must play, can't wait for TB3
