best freeware game iv ever played! This game is a beast, full-length, with excellent pacing and puzzle design thats better than most studio releases. It has to be played to be believed.

This game's a masterpiece. Exceptionally immersing storyline, artistic visuals and excellent music. Definitely a must play for everyone who's into any of the following: vampires, occultism, mysticism, eastern Europe, politics, thrillers, romance, film noir, smoking, adventures or all of them. Once you start, you will not want to stop playing!

I have completed the game and watched all the endings. The game is pretty long, but the characters' interactions, suspenseful story and high variety of puzzles are more than enough to keep your attention high. You might have some trouble with some of the puzzles early in the game, but they are not actually hard. Once you explore thorougly the background the game interface , the solution gets pretty obvious in many cases. The puzzles do get harder later, though. Donna's smoking provides hints! (yes, smoking helps in this game a lot!She is a vampire, mind you...)
Either you are a beginner or a veteran gamer in point and click adventures, the game is highly recommended.

Just completed this game and overall very impressed. It really takes into this character's world. So much suspense and fascinating plot that will keep you intrigued the whole way through. I did get majorly stuck a couple of times, but luckily found help in the forums. Overall, highly recommended!

Good lord. Been lurking here for years, played about every AGS there is, and this game compelled me to finally register so I could vote for it. Storyline rivals the (whole) Trilby series in its depth. A few dense puzzles, but this thing is more like a great novel than a game. Except you occasionally get to eat people.

One of the most amazing AGS games ever. A very suspenseful story set in a fleshed-out world that feels frighteningly real. Excellent pacing moves you through thrilling action sequences/chases, hiding and getting yourself and your thoughts together, and exciting investigation. Truly great gameplay with plenty of varied clever puzzles which never get frustrating even through the massive length and depth of this masterpiece.

The compelling story, logical puzzles and immersive environment makes this game a full-length, must-play thriller you don't want to miss.
