The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 CupNot serious entertainment
2 CupsA reasonable game, worth a try
3 CupsA good game, worth playing
4 CupsA great game, well worth your time
5 CupsAn outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been under-rated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

AGS Panel Review

"Quality card game, with solid execution."

I played a few rounds and really enjoyed it! Very lovely little game! And quite impressive in terms of scripting.

Hubris is a ton of fun and brings the days of playing Magic the Gathering back from the past. The game is totally random and doesn't have actual enemy AI, but the design of the cards and effects and how well the game was made, had me swearing that someone was playing against me at times. The fact this game was made in such a short amount of time is pretty amazing.
There's lots of options for the player to fiddle with and tons of beautifully drawn cards to admire.
This game is really just scratching the surface of what I believe it is going to evolve into from what I hear, this is great news for everyone. I already can't wait to see the next batch of cards that I can unleash on my enemy.
