The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 CupNot serious entertainment
2 CupsA reasonable game, worth a try
3 CupsA good game, worth playing
4 CupsA great game, well worth your time
5 CupsAn outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been under-rated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Step into the shoes of a diehard Space Quest fan and help guide her through the surprisingly difficult task of making a donation to the Two Guys from Andromeda's Kickstarter fund!

(This was a promotional game for Mark Crowe and Scott Murphy's SpaceVenture project, an adventure game which aims to continue the tradition of the classic Space Quest games. Several fans from the Janitorial Times contributed to this game, including Jess Morrissette (Decaffeinated Jedi, creator of the very first SQ fansite), who did (more or less) all the writing. The SpaceVenture Kickstarter's deadline came and went some time ago, but I decided to add this game to the database for "historical" purposes.)

AGS Awards

Nominated, Best Short Game 2012

2 people commented on this game (newest first):

Considering how quickly it was made (3 busy days, to stay ahead of kickstarter fund), this is a great result. As a game, well it wouldn't be too special if it wasn't for the sequel (which makes it very special as a mere prologue). So play them both together, it shouldn't take you too long.

This is an awesome game and great tribute to the Two Guys' efforts. Play this, then play the sequel - it's even better.
