The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Time Stone is a short adventure game made with Adventure Game Studio. With wonderful low-res art, it hopes to help you find the enjoyment you found when playing those awesome classic adventure games of years past, such as Day of The Tentacle and Simon the Sorcerer.

The Story In a fantasy realm, Elle, a young Wizard's apprentice, arrives at the Professor's house house one day for her potions lesson, only to discover that the Professor is in terrible danger and an evil Warlock is looking for something that holds tremendous power. Will you be able to uncover the Professor's secret and rescue him from the evil clutches of the Warlock? Only time will tell. Time Stone was designed and created by Stuart Lilford. AGS Panel Review

"Even as short one room game Time Stone provides a variety of interesting puzzles and funny dialogs. The graphics are nice and the music and sound effects enhance the atmosphere."

Really nice game. I'd love to play a full length game in this world, with this kind of Discworld-like humour. And the best secondary character was NOT the dragon but this crystal ball wizard on the other side of the world. He was hilarious!

A short, but very cute and fun game. Definitely recommended.

A great, short, sweet game. Dialogues are funny, puzzles spot on. I recommend it especially for introducing new players to the genre!

This game has a lot of character. I enjoyed the art the most, but every bit of it was good. Too bad is so short!

Well worth the download! It's short, but well done.

Really nice one-room game. Discworld fans among others will really enjoy the humour. Pretty easy but the puzzles and relative difficulty of them were appropriate to the game's setting and length. Only takes about 10 minutes to complete, but they're 10 good minutes you'll enjoy.

Loved all the little animations too!

EXCELLENT small game.
Has a pro feel to it.
sounds are great
graphics great.
My only criticism is when u save, and the girl turns around to say "your game is saved!"
You can view this as a cute addition,or,like me, see it as an annoyance that breaks the immersion.
That small point aside,i reckon ,well done stuart!

Very short, but very well crafted. Will provide some chuckles and a few laugh out loud moments over a coffee-break sized chunk of time.
