The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

Short, sweet and charming. My 7 year old also played through it and very much enjoyed!

Had fun playing this, well written, charming and looks great. I feel like some atmospheric background noise or music would make it feel truly complete. Good stuff!

Hang On is no old Motocycle racing game but a nice and short adventure game with a fun story about a kleptomaniac yeti sabotaging a cable car just when one of the two playable characters happens to be in the cable car.
The puzzles are fun to solve and every riddle has some explanation to it to get you on track for it. If only the game had a soundtrack or some ambient sounds.

I made a longplay of Hang On, you can find it here:

Hang On is easy on the eye and on the player. The simple yet charming style fits the game quite well - it reminds me of a bedtime story. Definitely a game I could play with my nephews.

Again, a second lovely light hearted game from you, lovely pixel art, nice story and very clear goals with not too hard puzzles. Well done!

Another great game from this author.

Good graphics and game play for this short MAG game.

Its quite short, but incredibly sweet.

A very neat and tidy game, the visuals have such a strong style, I love your de-saturated/pastel-ish pallet, excellent delicate color combos.
The characters had so much charm with very apt dialog.

Great game, very tight and just enough challenge to the puzzles not to rage-quit. Love the unique art style here and the animations are all very well done. The writing is spot-on as well; the dialog feels natural, and the characters come off like real people. A rarer delight these days!

Great work!

Really charming little game. The graphics are wonderful and the puzzles worked really well. I do agree with others that some background music, or ambient sounds, could have added to the overall atmosphere of the game, but everything else was just about perfect! A very enjoyable little game.

Very nice work. Cute concept, pitch-perfect puzzles, superb visuals. The only thing missing is some background music or sound effects.

I like the game. Cute story, and I especially like the ending (I won't give it away, but all you need to know it's a funny twist).
