The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

The codephrases for disaster: -Telephone and computer being fixed... -No Intercom... -Door locked from inside... -5:00 PM (17:00)... -Evening deep-sea fishing trip at 5:30...

You pooped out after a long day's work. The only thing that kept you through was your love for fishing, and the fact that you have a big fishing trip in 30 minutes. Everything seems to be perfect. All you need to do is open the door, and leave...

But life isn't always perfect... ... ... (On the edge of your seat yet?). Every download comes a free game!

AGS Panel Review

"Ridiculous puzzle situations complicate an otherwise short and simple game, though the humor redeems it somewhat."

Terrible. Bad graphics, bad puzzles, bad dialouge. Just bad. Extremely boring too. Definitely not worth it. I found myself wishing it would end. 0 out of 5. haha.

Funny little game, but the puzzles are really too illogic. Too bad.

Very memorable game for a short game. Loved the character design... the main character is very distinctive and some of the one-liners are pretty funny. I only wish the final puzzle involving the pedestrian was a bit more involved or realistic.

not a bad game but the puzzles, although quite easy didn't always make a lot of sense, but that,s adventure games for you.
Quite enjoyable, worth a go.

This was pretty bad. The graphics, while simplistic, were ok. The background, in particular, had far more appeal then the characters. However, what really kills it is how illogical some of the puzzles are. For instance, you use the old, overused, technique of sliding a piece of paper under a door and then pull it back with the key you pushed from the lock... but guess what, when you get the key, it doesn't work on the same door you pulled it out from (maybe due to the clip that was stuck in it), but, somehow, it works on your window. Another example is on the top of the tower, when you have a hammer and could easily throw that, but the designer thought it would be smarter if you would rip a rail metal bar with the hammer and THEN throw that metal bar. I would give other examples, but that would be like giving you a walkthrough for the game, which I won't. Finally, I did come across one bug, everytime you put the piece of paper under the door, after you got the first key, you'll continue to get more keys just by picking the paper up again - this needs to be fixed. I'm still giving this a 2 out 5 simply because the plot is somewhat original and there are some funny one-liners from your character, so I say kudos to that, but overall I was not impressed by this game

I liked the game, but a lot of the puzzles were rather illogical. But the game is definately worth playing.
