About this game
Game is about a struggling student discovering an adventure in a very weird place. On top of this he must complete his CS project.5 people commented on this game (newest first):
He's Gone Historical is a comedy in two very distinct acts. The first part of the game is a more domestic adventure set on a university campus. Then, half way through the game suddenly becomes a medieval adventure with wizards, pirates and dragons. There is a pleasing game length and some nice retro graphics which were apparantly painstakingly drawn pixel by pixel.
The game has its flaws. Some of the humour falls a little flat, opting for lazy surrealism and dull references. Also, the second part of the game is rather complex with some confusing puzzles where you have to exhaust all the conversation options with the right person at the exact right time. Still, having said that, the puzzles are largely quite logical and much of the dialogue is very funny indeed.
All in all, He's Gone Historical is a very enjoyable first effort and I would definitely love to see a sequel surface sometime in the future
