The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Based on Maniac Mansion Mania, this is a short game featuring Bernard Bernoulli.
His family locked him upstairs in his room, and while Bernard struggles to get out, he's confronted with a junkie, a bunch of waffles and his own forgetfulness.

AGS Panel Review

"Has some interesting puzzle elements (the x-ray was particularly nice) but the harsh language and drug use may put off fans of Maniac Mansion."

Really good game... Just a bit difficult but really well thought. A little remark, nothing appears when you use Talk to... and I thought this action was not useful... I was wrong^^. Anyway, It's a one room escape that I will not forget.

This game really got my noggin working overtime, which is why it felt good to beat it! Nice, tough puzzles.

I enjoyed the stats at the end. For me it was 49 seconds with the waffles and 49 minutes to discover ---- :P
