About this game

Struggling freelance writer Cayanne Pepper has nothing better to do so she tries to help an old acquaintance who happens to be wanted for murder.

Cayanne Pepper is set in a post-nuclear-war not-too-distant future/alternate present. It's intended as a "part one" kind of game.

I've spent some days investigating in this game, and I have to say it's very good. The gameplay largely consists of talking to characters and uncovering evidence. I was drawn into the story and felt for several of the characters. The game does mix genres, so some purists may be aware, but us investigative fans have a good one right here.

In a world ravaged by nuclear strikes, Cayanne Pepper is a girl who wants to be on the straight and narrow. When she helps a friend try to investigate a murder, a whole can or worms is opened up.

This game really three-dimensional-izes the characters, and is a great plot from start to finish. Well worth checking out!

I was a bit put off my the interface at first but once I gave it a chance I really really enjoyed it. Wonderful graphics, humorous dialog, nice story + puzzles.. overall very well done, I'll be waiting for the sequel !!! :)

great game... best for me in a long time actually. It flowed nicely and the dialogue really kept my interest. The puzzles weren't too difficult but weren't incredibly easy... they made sense to the story.
Can't wait for the sequel (?)

I really enjoyed this game. I love the graphics and the characters were pretty good, although I wish we knew a bit more about the main character. I think that some irrelevant facts about her life would have added color to her. The story starts with a nice momentum, but in my opinion starts feeling rushed later on, and the last moments seemed a bit blurry, until everything is explained at the end.

Although some puzzles are a bit contrived, they are always logical. However, the game and puzzles are pretty linear, which might leave you puzzled wondering what to do to make the current day end.

I loved this game! I didn't expect the ending.

I love games where the player actually has to think and investigate everything, rather than picking up 30 items and creating bizarre scenarios.

Hope you keep the story going.
