The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them
ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you
think your game has been under-rated!
| 1 Cup | Not serious entertainment |
| 2 Cups | A reasonable game, worth a try |
| 3 Cups | A good game, worth playing |
| 4 Cups | A great game, well worth your time |
| 5 Cups | An outstanding, must-play game! |
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common
for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having
a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just
getting started!
Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game
You play as the german Zeppelin commander Wilhelm von Hadenberg, and... damn, see for yourself, the game is too short to give away that much information. Now with 500% more cliches about Imperial Germany than the next leading brand.
You might have already seen some instance of this game (like the original mAGS version, which is still floating about, or the original deluxe version, which has been deleted and purged). In that case, you might still want to give this a try since some additional bits of content have been added, like music (by Scott Joplin), sound effects (by myself) and better character sprites (also by myself).

Nice short game.
Many idea could be easily added, like some puzzles for repairing the device. You also want to visit this island a little bit! Get some food, use metal parts to get and eat a shark, build a small house, etc.
The hot-spot can be used to lift up what you know...
It would be nice to construct a boat to quit the island, with the propeller of the balloon for the boat.
The Zeppelin crashing on an unmapped island is a VERY good start for a full-length adventure... i have so many ideas...

I've re-uploaded the game to a different place; my apologies for the inconvenience.

New version. It would be nice if some member of the rating panel could give this another playthrough and maybe re-rank it... personally, I think it's much better now.

Not a bad effort but the ending was like a damp squib. It lost pace in all unnessary dialogue between the other characters. Shame.

I liked the MAGS version more. The new rooms felt a bit out of place in the setting of the game.
Still, my original review for the MAGS version stands:
«This is a nice short game with neat graphics and dialogue. It isn't very pretentious and it manages very well at that. »
