Nice game  , though I am stuck  .
I have read somewhere that I am supposed to use a certain note with certain literature. Said note is supposed to be in something which you can eat. But said something-which-you-can-eat can neither be investigated, nor is Dr. Lutz willing to eat it and use it to its natural purpose, i. e. EAT it and find the note mentioned above.
My question is: How the heck do I get the note?

use a spherical object in the whole next to the switch

Regarding the note
If I remember correctly, I think you have to go to your inventory and look at the toast to get the note and then look at the note to read what it says

I'm back in 1926 now, got the pitcher for the oil but that's the only progress I've made here. I talked to the kid and have been to the kitchen and kid's room and checked out everything. I need the find the yoyo, wire (eventually) and a way to get the oil from the tank to the pitcher

Right, I've gone into the future, I've turned off the alarm, got the water, I've used the ball on the replicator, but I can't seem to figure out a way to make a blueprint... Chalk won't work on either pieces of paper I have (wrapping paper, and safe code) and I can't use the paper on the replicator either... So, what do I do?

Can someone please help me with this?
