The software store guy can't help and neither can the bot in Radio Shock. I seem to be out of options. Any hints?

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out. Now I can't get off the planet I beamed to.

I gave the scanner to the doctor and found two of three fluids and the passcode. Have no keycard for the locker in the crew rooms and cannot enter the class room where the two cadets are, even though I can open the door. Have the wire but cannot do anything to open the non-functional door. Need a (one) nudge into the right direction.

Use the Tracker part with the wire and the power cell, and you got a Coordinate Tracker.
Use this with the console on deck 4 and you can beam over

I'm fairly at the beginning, I got the fuse and the hook. What do I do now?  I know I have to get the screwdriver from the sandpeople truck and somethign down the drain (need something to tie the hook to).  How do I get these items? What do I do next?

To get the thing down the drain:

From where you found the fude walk to the left. There are a lot of Spacepods parked. Look at the bottom right one and find this one open. Use the pod to find a talisman which looks like a MAGNET ON A ROPE.

To get the screwdriver:

In your own ship is a rope near the top left seat. Use it on the hook. Use that to get the screwdriver.

FYI: ACI ver 2.72.920 is mentioned in the dialog box, in case that's of any help to you) How do I bypass this bug? (I presume some people have, judging by how far they've gotten into the game)

yes sorry, that is a bug that sometimes occur in this version, just try it the other way round, use hook with rope, that should work fine!
