I'm just a newbie so thanks for your help!

I've imported a background (created with MS Paint) which is my first room. In this room, some books are drawn and I want to associate a hotspot (a message in this case when the character look at it) to these objects but I can't! I've recover these books with a color and made all the steps in the Getting Started with AGS but it doesn't work!

Help me!

                     Thanks!

it´s the same post as this: http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=6118
Make sure you do what Jimi said in that post, cos it´s the way to do it. There must be some point you are not doing properly, it should work perfectly.

I've tried hundred times and it doesn't work!

I recover with a color the books drawn with MS Paint and associate to these a hotspot (message)! What's wrong??

Make sure you click on appropriate hotspot as if it's too tiny you could miss one. Also make sure you draw a hotspot and not a walk-able area or walkbehind instead. If it doesn't work tell us what exactly you are doing (step-by-step) so we will be able to recognize what's wrong then.
