It's an Italian publication called, "Giochi per il Mio Computer".Ã, They want to include my game "The Adventures of JP & Cosmo: Part I - A Friend Indeed" on the free CD that comes with the publication.
I received this e-mail yesterday:

I'm very interested in this.
In fact I am going to do it, I was just curious if anybody has/had heard of them.
Mama mia! (stereotyped Italian, sorry): http://gamesradar.msn.it/indexms.asp?RadarPath=/issue.asp&subsectionid=358
Congratulations! What an honor!
Congratulations. You get to be on a DVD that features loads of new games from developers in multi-million dollar corporations! That's an honour
so give us the secret... who did you sleep with?? :D
Really, grats :) you deserve it
I'm glad to see they asked for your permission. I would do it, just for that fact. And seriously, I think your game deserves to be on something like this. Congratulations!
Hi all, first message for me here.
GMC is a very important game magazine, really interested in all kind of game, adventure one includes. A bunch of them post frequently to the italian newsgroup it.comp.giochi.avventure.grafiche.
So i can say that they are serious, and well-behavored (is this a word? :D)
As far as i know, this is the usual way to ask for including a game or program in the cd/dvd, mayble littler magazines just include it without no asking :-)
So, if i have to say u to firm, i say... "yes, why not?"
why not? maybe because i've just played your game, reviewed it in the newsgroup above (italian only sorry) and i'ld like to make an italian translation of the game. If u are interested we can first make the translation and then make it distribute via the magazine in a second time, making it more enjoyable also for the italians that don't speak english.
This is an idea, just tell me what do u think about here or with a private message, or replying to my last mail ;-)
See ya and remember, we are waiting for the sequel ;)
That's great Darth!
Ã, Ã, Hey, you're gonna be famousÃ, ;DÃ,Â
Well, that kind of exposure of your game may lead to some good oppertunities for you.
*Salutes*
That's soooo awsome! Go for it! You have nothing to lose! I've thought of making some game and offering it to a magazine, but having them finding you is just som much cooler... Congratz man!
Thanks guys!
I've been in continued contact with the publisher and it looks like they're willing to wait for the Italian translation!
How cool is this?
I have a German version (soon to be available for DL) and Farlander and I are going to do the Spanish translation.Ã, Now I'm gonna have an Italian version as well!
Just too cool!
I'm pumped about it being in that magazine!
Thanks for all the kind words!
cool darth i played jp and cosmo and you deserve to be famous for it ;D 8) ;D 8)good luck
I dont mind translating it into Italian as long as there isn't more than 5 pages of text to translate.
If it it more than 5 pages you may have to wait more than 3 weeks. Possibly longer. If its 5 or less, I can do it in about a week.
Joey DiPerla
Congratulations!
I insist that you refer to this as the Italian Job.
beautiful grapfix, beautiful gameplay, beautiful beautiful beatuiful!
Wow! you're so damn beautiful darth!
Wow that's really great! Your game obviously deserves to have a place in a publication :D
Man I have to buy this publication, just to see it with my own eyes ;D
Hey now that your in this international-ego-trippin-spree (well deserved!!), what do you say of making a Croatian translation, and then including it in one of our magazines, because i know they are very friendly towards putting stuff on their CD/DVD, especially now when everyone is switchin' to DVD's.

Congratulation Darth. I discovered just recently that it's a great feeling to see own game in a mag. Good job. How about a sequel btw?
Thanks again fellas!
Czar - I wouldn't mind making a Croation translation ... it's really more work for the translator than it is for me :)Ã, Are there any special characters/symbols in this language?Ã, That's the hard part ... 'cause then the fonts need to be updated!

You just never know what somebody
might be working on 'Behind the Scenes' ...
Hey... great news for Farl's comeback... ;) It is allways nice to see that a friend is succeding!
BTW... I'll have to delay my definitive comeback till sept... Jeremy, wait for me!
Hey, mate!
It seems like A Friend has meanwhile gone international without you knowing that

It's Czech publication and can translate as Games Digest (volume 24).
I don't know whether you will be pleased or pissed :D
Anyway A Friend Indeed is a great game and deserves it's place on cover CDs so it won't be the only occasion IMO.

Darth - Well, yeah, there are some new characters, but i can make variations on them, so no sweat. 8)
