Title: Adventure Lantern
Post by: wisnoskij on Mon 05/11/2012 20:56:24
Hello all,
I just thought I would mention a online FREE magazine that I and a few others adventure enthusiasts make every month.

Before my time (back in 2006-2007) Adventure Lantern was going strong, and was even mentioned a few times on this very forum (so I am sure a few of you remember us).

Well we have been back in operation for around a year now and producing a new magazine filled with news, reviews, and previews every month. In some ways we are going stronger than ever (the visual design is the best it has ever been), but we are somewhat short on writers/editors.

Also, since AGS is such an important and huge part of the adventure community, we have a specific news subsection for it.

And if anyone is interested in helping out, experience is not necessary and we are all amateurs. I am not the owner (or final decision maker), but at this point it would be best to contact me (my email is available through this AGS profile).

We recently published the September and October issue, and they can both be downloaded on our website.

Adventure Lantern is always a good read.  I didn't know they were planning Beneath a Steel Sky 2 until I saw it in AL!!  8-)

Great, there's always something interesting in those issues. And often something related closely to---oh look, there's AdventureX in the October issue  :-D Nice one!

I've been a big fan of Adventure Lantern, ever since they published an interview with me (http://www.adventurelantern.com/Magazine/AdventureLantern_Dec2011.pdf) about Life in the Dorms :D. Everyone should check it out!
