Well for now I can offer:

Dave Gilbert presenting Blackwell Epiphany:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtLhe8k8wmk&feature=c4-overview&list=UUpX3nqy7pIwxTkcagJwXKtA

Dave creates a nice atmosphere for presenting the newest blackwell game. Was probably cool to be there and great to watch. But the cameraangle is way too angly!

neon

Yes, that's true. But it was the best option to

a) catch the best possible sound and
b) as the camera was running unattended I had to find a position where nobody accidently touches or moves it and
c) nobbody would accidently put himself between the camera and the presentation

So sorry for the angle, but it wasn't possible to have a better position for it.

For those waiting for the Charles Cecil interview.... I wanted to do it directly, but as I promised to bring two videos a day I decided to do one from the presentation room (those are easy to cut) and one interview every day.

Today I want to bring the interview with Kristian Fosh, because his Kickstarter is only running for 3 days from now and he needs the coverage urgently. Check out the campaign: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/677106949/jason-the-greek-pointnclick-adventures-in-ancient

So I'm sorry, but the Charles Cecil Interview has to wait until weekend.

Sorry for triple-posting:

Really enjoying the videos Neon! It's nice to catch stuff I missed as well as have a record of the event. Keep up the good work.

Thanks!

Forgot to post this one yesterday (or I was too tired).

It's the presentation of The Order of Dagon, this time in english language.

#226
Charles Cecil's presentation, for those who missed the Livestream.

The camera turned of two times while recording, but actually there are only about 10 seconds missing of the 42 minutes speech.

-EDIT-: and the final cut of the interview with the guys behind Her Majesty's Spiffing:

Interview with Luis from Fictiorama Studios (Dead Synchronicity):

Sorry I have to slow down a bit now, I have to continue on Tuesday. There's lot of material to be published, but I have no time yet. But from Tuesday to Friday I think I will be able to push the rest of it out of the door.

Thanks neon! Damn my allowance ran out 6 mins into the Cecil interview so I'll watch that and all the ones I've missed when I get new allowance/phone line + proper broadband installed over the next couple of weeks.

neon

Happy to be able to give you guys all that stuff, even if I wished I had 2 or 3 more editors at the location. Unfortunately nobody else had time to show up there. We already agreed internally to focus more on AdventureX next year, so I hope we will be able to attend with a bigger team as we are on gamescom.

Fictiorama

Hi there!

Thanks neon for all your work, it was a pleasure to meet you!

And thanks to all the AdventureX crew, specially to Mark! You all do a REALLY great work!

It was really nice to meet so many adventure lovers and developers there... and to show the first demo of "Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow comes Today".

Hope to see you all next year! :D

The only thing that could be "better" about AdventureX is if it was happening earlier in the year, not in December. That time of the year, aside from very cold weather and rain, is also notoriously hard for getting time off at work... ( I did get it though)

But I guess there must be a good reason to have it in December and I shall just stop grumbling now, since I really loved it;) I will try to go next year and attend both days that time, not just Saturday.

The first part (of two) of AdventureGamers coverage is up.

Just a quick word folks, as no "2014" thread has hit the boards yet... It looks like UEA will be out of the question this year. But thankfully it seems perfectly possible that the event would be held at Southbank Uni (possibly the Keyworth centre (London SE1) within walking distance of Elephant & Castle for those who want to check it on maps).

So, wanted to say although it's been quiet and UEA is a sad loss, we are trying to make things happen behind the scenes and they are progressing okay at this point. MAYBE see you later this year. Don't book a hotel just yet Mr. Stein! ;)

Dave Gilbert

Sorry to hear that! Did they raise their rates or did they just say no? It was a good location, but the show will go on. Looking forward to AX2014.

AGA

It's no longer operational at that site, and I'm now working elsewhere.  So the rates would have at least doubled, even if they were willing to rent to now external people.
