Here it is: www.lumpcity.co.uk/agszine/ezine%2011.doc , featuring:
Reviews of some games
What will we be playing in 2005?
AGS Team challenge special
Interview with Dave Gilbert

PS will someone please convert it to pdf, since my attempts failed? :/

Excellent read Vel, as usual! Great review of ToaK (Very kind), and the interview with Dave Gilbert was great. I guess this now means that when people start asking me what I'm working on currently, I can finally start saying Bestowers of Eternity instead of "Oh, just some project", hehe.

I need to get my CD of Windows Office, if I ever want to read .doc files again.  :'(

OpenOffice.Org (http://www.openoffice.org) reads and creates Microsoft Word documents too. Plus it's also only about a 12MB download, and it's completely free and legal, unlike Office, which is 500MB+ and costs $500.

You paid for office?! :O

Actually, the zine should be mailed to all of us.

Excellent work. It's great to see new issues of the ezine coming out over and over again. I don't know if I would persevere for so long myself...

I love the interview with Dave Gilbert, and the upcoming games bit is quite interesting too. I didn't know about most of those. That certainly gives me something to look forward to on the adventure games front.

On a personal note, I thought the review on my latest game was a bit negative :-\ In fact, it's hard to find a single good point aside from "the idea is quite cool".

At the end of the day, you may like “Abducted: 10 minutes” only if you really like the plot, or if you are masochistic.

I honestly didn't think it was that bad... Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered making and releasing it.

But feedback is always a good thing, I guess. Thanks for taking the time to play and write the review.

Heh, sorry aussie. I know you can do much better and you have proven it with your previous game "Nick it and Run"... If that'd make you feel better, the hamlet got only 12% more.

We're glad to announce that Vel's AGS Ezine is now being presented and downloadable at Adventure Developers (http://www.adventuredevelopers.com/engines.php)! The older issues are also archived here (http://www.adventuredevelopers.com/resources.php?action=view&id=1).

Enjoy!Ã,  :D

I downloaded nr 10 of the AGZezine from Adventure Developers, but while the file is called AGSezine10.pdf, somehow it's edition 4.

As if Adventure Gamers never experienced downtime. It was purely lazyness lack of time that delayed our return.
