Yes, I am one of those who contributed to Cyan's Kickstarter project.  I'll get a special edition boxed game when it's finally finished and published.  I can't wait!

I liked that most of the Myst series was so steampunk, sort-of Jules Verne.
I find that whenever they introduce "technologies that work with plants in place of bolts and levers" into the games, it breaks my suspension of disbelief. And the Obduction trailer seems full of it (like, the alien ship that looks like a giant gleamy chestnut)

I am excited that it's Unreal 4 though, I'm glad they're still interested in trying to achieve maximum visual fidelity.
