I was just wondering if there was anyone out their attempting to, thinking about, or would like to start remaking the day of the tentacle that could be played on higher speed PCs with sound that is useful.
I was playing my old game, which I love and vbelieve to be my favorite adventure game ever made, and it doesn't have any sound that will work with my ne sound card, and will not save for some reason.
I love that game and have seen on this site that others have recreated some of Lucas Arts other games, and was wondering about this one...
HEY, and if your really in the mood, I could sure go for an updated Sam&Max or Full Throttle.
I don't know at all the first thing of making these games that you guys pump out, but I love downloading them and playing them. You Guys Rock!!!!!!!

Check out VDMSound and SCUMMVM, they let you play the games fully with sound and everything.
Have you tried playing the game through ScummVM?
http://www.scummvm.org/
It lets you play, on a more modern computer system, many of those old adventure games based on the "Scumm" system.
*Opps, MrColossal beat me to the post at the same time I was writing. But, I'll still post my reply as it has the ScummVm link in in ;)
I dont think there is really any need at this stage to remakeany of those games, AGS would only be able to equal them in terms of graphics and interface etc (if the artist and coder was good enough) so i wouldnt see the point.
