Title: Easy BG desig
Post by: JpSoft on Sun 04/05/2008 21:18:57
I dont know if someone else post about this before...

What about create a program to create BG´s very easy. The program could load patterns and then the user just need add colour, textures and more stuff. Even it could have predefined objects (as chairs, doors, etc) so create BGs will be easy even for people like me  ::)

Something similar could be created to allow easy design 2D characters with good graphical quality.

Most parts i can imagine are very easy to program (in delphi) even qhen i dont have drawing skills to start, but for sure if this program exists much more people will be ready to create their own AG.

You are talking about a RTP (run-time package) like of the rpgmaker, but for making BGs and Chars of the adventure games?

These are problematic... The style of the AGs is very personal, and any RTP with chars and objects will be repetitive and unoriginal. there are people with one drawing styles incompatible with a global RTP...

Is the same the Free contribuition post, And the major part of the material is incompatible one with another. To some funny characters I recommend the Charamaker of the rpgmaker, a program with thousands of combinations to make manga-chubby characters (with walk animation).

About the Pattern you talk, and the users puts the textures... I don't understand what do you mean.

PD: sorry, I do efforts to be understable in english xD
