Right. I'm shit. I can't remember if Broken Sword 3 has been released yet. Anyway, this year I'll get the chance to meet Charles Cecil again (if needed) and ask him some questions.
Does anyone have any? Perhaps something about Broken Sword 3, or any of them?
Or perhaps about BASS and why it's now freeware?
I personally can't think of anything to ask him, but I don't want to miss the oppurtunity when its there!
:)

ask about BASS 2 and why it was canceled.
That should be interesting :)
I have one:
What's ECTS?
i don't think BASS 2 was cancelled, just kinda planned, according to a conversation i had with dave gibbons a few years back anyway.
i don't think they could better BASS anyway...
Ask him if he owns a blue cup, and if he thinks he is 7331 :)... Then if he thinks he is 7331 again...
I hope you purposely spelled 1337 backwards..
If you did, what was the signigicance of that joke?
If you didn't.. HAHA
Ask him if he can send me up a train ticket and free entry.
I'd be interested to know how he thinks the atmosphere of Broken Sword three will compare to the first two (on the basis that the imaculate cartoon style of the origionals lend a sence of place that would have to completly different in any other visual format. Will their wait for technology to do 3D adventure justice have been long enough to re-create the incredible flowing movement of the characters, or have they gone for a more realistic animation style, to match the more realistic images?)
Bit of a long one, but it's something I feel is important. I don't wanna play BS3 if it's not packing such a superb atmosphere. And I just can't visualise those 3D people moving as beautifully as the 2D types did...
I guess you could tell 'im that as well, to try and explain my some-what nebulous question.
Woo, great question, Cap'n, I'll deffinatley ask him that one. Thanks :)

I'm looking forward to it.. I'm pretty interested on its new adventure refining ways.
Captain Mostly - I didn't have to go to bed at 7 last night, so I stayed up like teh rebel I am!
Netmonkey, ahh yes. I saw 10/10/03 somewhere about a release date last night. But thanks for confirming to me which month "10" was lol.
Booooyyy are you guys in for some kick ass material when the zine re-opens! ;)

Listen son, you should be in your pijamas when you're watching the simpsons, and be under the covers before the credits are over. That's the northern way!
Also: What changes in priority have there been (from the story telling perspective) since the last 2 games?
Noted. The question, and the advice. Thank j00.

To those who have any doubts about BS3: DON'T. This game will kick the ass, I personally guarantee. If it doesn't, I will offer my own ass for the kicking (but not for anything else) as consolation. I swear to God, that game is going to rule everything. Anyone who hasn't seen screenshots needs to immediately check some out (particularly anything in Paris) because they are jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
EDIT: I just realized this post didn't particularly do anything that this thread is for. Consider it a public service.
it was the screen shots that gave me doubts!!! Pretty, yes, but totally not what Broken Sword has looked like before, so will it feel like a Broken Sword game?!?!?!?!?!!?!??!?!?! I JUST DON'T KNOW!!!
Ask him how he feels about the reaction to his infamous 'p&c is dead' statement last year.
And YOU MUST NOT forget to ask him what color his toothbrush is!
You gotta be kidding :P
oh no siree. Have you ever seen those real Irc interviews with people like Bill Tiller. You must ask him the color of his toothbrush :P
Oh alright. The toothbrush question is on the list :P

BS3 does play much like the previous ones, with an excellent atmosphere as far as I remember :) I got to play it for a preview I wrote for Boomtown.net at E3 and I've got an appointment to get an in depth look again at its progress at ECTS, so you'll get a decent preview from Boomtown too :)
