Join The Inventory’s adventure project!

Did you ever dream of becoming a game developer? If so, this might be your chance to break your way in the computer game industry. We have formed a development team and our goal is to create a 3rd person adventure game, inspired by movies like American Beauty and Donnie Darko.

The game, which is called Sealed Lips for the time being, will use full 3D graphics. It will feature a cinematic soundtrack and an innovative point and click interface. The gameplay will be reminiscent of games like Gabriel Knight, The Longest Journey and Syberia but it will also present players with new tasks to solve that escape the typical boundaries set by previous titles of our genre.

We cannot give a lot of details regarding payment right now. We will be able to discuss more about that later on, after we have had some meetings with publishers that are going to take place in the middle of March.

We are currently looking for concept artists, 3D modelers and storywriters. Storywriters with a background in psychology or criminology will be preferred.

Send your applications to sl_adv@yahoo.com

Editor of The Inventory
Project Leader of Sealed Lips

Captain Mostly

I hate to be a cynic, but how serious is this project? Is there a web site? Is it an experienced team? Is there any industry knowlage in the team? What made you pick the AGS forum for recruiting?

I know it sounds harsh, but most people will immediatly assume this is a hoax!

I think people will be more trusting if you can show them pretty conclusivly it's not.

Andail

Cpt Mostly said precisely what I (and many others) was about to say.

Before you can show screenshots, earlier merits, a real plot description, a presentation of your team, more specifics regarding the engine and planned features, all you can do is talk. And everybody can talk.
If you have a website or something, it'd be easier to see.

I was contacted to have an article about "JP & Cosmo" in the Inventory.  I've seen this website before in the past.

I'm not vouching for it, just informing a little ;)

I can't believe people haven't heard about the Inventory! Especially in *this* community. Games like Fatman and Indy Fountain of Youth have been covered by those guys.

The inventory is very cool. I've read most of them, although i  have missed the last couple due to being away.

Oh yeah, i think i'm too busy to join the team anyways.

DM, Erwin,

I think CM and Andail meant
- a project web page rather than the Inventory web page
- mentioning team experience & knowledge
- and what 3d engine they're planning to use (CrystalSpace? RW? Homebrew?)

I do agree that the project's too vague at the moment. Creating a game is very time consuming and I don't think many people will invest their spare time into an unclear/vague concept.

However, I doubt people will think dimi's setting up a hoax.
