Looking for good tutorials on sierra style art, Mostly quest for glory style stuff.
I hear alot of it was done by scanning oil paintings and reducing the colors, but I'm intrested in all techniques.
This is a really good one, I think he made more but I couldn't find them.

Yeah, that tutorial doesn't look too bad for a beginner--but if you really want to get a nice-looking, textured painting, lay off the Smudge tool. In fact, never use it EVER. It's a crutch that makes everything it touches look like blurry shit.
Ah yes, I've seen this before and was looking for it.
Thanks and I'm still open to more suggestions

Thanks man, I'm gunna need it being my game.agf crashed out and had no backup...
Big hugs to you Grim. :(
Second those hugs. It happened to me once and was annoying enough when I had three backups in place (because I'm a paranoid git)
But sadly I can't draw for crap so can't offer you any real help :P
Thanks guys,
Haha jared, my names jared too.
I'm going to try to start a new game hopefully with some bgs and characters from nightfable, sort of a medevil village woodsman adventure,If not for her offer to contribute some images i probley wouldnt do anymore game design.
The crash was a hard blow taking away many days of hellish coding that i wish never to do again in my life.
But perhaps something fresh and not so copy-catish will inspire me to continue game dev....
