Title: The best game...
Post by: on Sun 29/12/2002 12:02:05
There are a lot of games out there and we only know of some. What I want to know is where I can download the best ones. They don't have to be the best games on all fronts... What will be nice is if you could post them by their strongpoints.

EG: Like posting what the game was you've played with the best music.

Best music is Pleurgburg: Dark Ages. Thats also the best story in an ags game IMO

I don't know, I didn't think PB's music was as good as, say, KQ1VGA or 2's. Maybe I just don't like mod files...

Along with PDA, I rank RLBAT as having the best msuic and story, as well as being the funniest game I've played ever.

But some might find the graphics off putting.

Hm, I think we could need a little break in the "best game" discussions...we are after all making the games for fun, and not to compete...we don't want any elitism around here, right

beside, noone mentions tulle's world, so I'm really not amused :)

Or Hungry Hungry Hippos.

:p

But yes, Pleurghburg must be the overall favourite if it won best game in the 2002 awards.

I wish I could play it! It always crashes on my machine. My favorite game in AGS so far is: Larry Vales II. Good Job Simple (Phil Reed)!

Guys, I dont know why you dont mention it, but the best ags game so far is KQ2VGA. At all fronts. Read reviews if you do not trust me. And it's been downloaded far more times than any other ags game.

That's funny vel cause when this thread was alive, KQ2VGA was probably not yet released, and if it was, probably not long enough for peope to comment.

...which is actually quite logical.

I mean, why on earth would someone revive a thread almost a year old?

And then start an identical thread in the same forum?

Even when such a thread is also going on in the Gen Gen? (or was, not too long ago?)

Hmmm... am beginning to see Helm's point.
