I've had it with midi.  . i've got noteworthy, fruityloops, guitar pro 4, and out of the first to, i cant even get one friggin bleep. I now tabs, but i hate the G-string (omg, i just KNOW that isnt the real word for that thing ) .. *nederlanders, de g sleutel, dat ding wat de g aangeeft bij een notentabel*.. How much oes a midi keyboard cost ?

My copy of Cubase came with a physical device you have to plug into a serial port, otherwise it doesn't work.  How did those of you who have copied versions get around that?  I guess there are probably cracked versions.


Anyway, anyone know of any good Cubase tutorials on the web?  I've been incredibly busy and haven't had the time I'd like to explore the program, but I'll have a lot more time starting in a few weeks and I'd really like to get to know the software better.

but you could be correct, there are cracks for the illegal versions (I'm ashamed to say I use illegal too) - I bought cubasis audio lite, but it was a bitch for me, too dang old and not enough features.... It cost me so much that I didn't want to afford the FULL version :o

Cubase is an excellent program, I love it.

N3T: I bought my version new from an educational software retailer last year (Version 5.0, copyright 2001), so I hope it's not from the atari age

lol, no I kinda figured,

At my music school there is an old atari computer, you need to plug a thingamajig in there so it will work, kinda fun actually.

Version 5.0, I pray it is VST!

Here is one from MIT that was made for small children.  I haven't had a chance to try it, but since I have veryy little musical ability  I thought this would be for me.  If anyone takes the time to try it out let us know what you think about it.
