What's a good program to make MIDI music

to get midi with FruityLoops you need to use the Fruity LSD plugin/filter, you need to setup a port in your settings (usually 001) then set any midi channel you make port 001, then it'll come through your soundcard rather than your proper midi port, it's pretty simple to use... if you get stuck, read the manual...

I personally use Cubase SX for all midi stuff, mainly because I use VSTs. Anything that can save a midi file is good though... check out Jazz++ (I think) as it's free, Cakewalk as it's cheap and easy to use, or Cubase/Logic/Sibelius if you have the money or don't mind warezing.
