Okay, I have an idea for a game that I think will be very fun and unique and offer a lot of new puzzle possibilities... the catch is, your character would die A LOT. Now dying wouldn't be a bad thing nessesarily, as there would not actually be a way to "lose" this game and have to reload, and I would try to keep the deaths light hearted with out a lot of gore, or even off screen or somewhat hidden so you wouldn't get to really see details. It would be a comedic game, so the deaths are not ment to be gruesome or anything, but are a critical story element. So.... my question is, if I went ahead with this, do you guys think there would be a lot of people that are agaisn't it even if the deaths are almost on the same level as Wile E. Coyote "deaths"? Or somewhere between that and the Itchy & Scratchy deaths?
Do what you want and people will play it.
Don't worry about it, if someone is offended or put off by death in a game then that's 1 person who won't play versus the 100 other people who don't care.
Enjoy your time making the game, that's what matters.
Good luck!
