Brownie's Adventure 2!

After the surprisingly positive reception so far of my very 'out there' comedy solo project I decided I enjoyed it so much I'd make a sequel.

It looks a lot nicer. I have a little cheap drawing tablet now and have progressed from the gold standard of Microsoft Paint to it's less formidable relative - aseprite. Still using the old public domain free AI database to get starting points for backgrounds. Slowly getting better at editing them and animating them. Planned a little more on the puzzles and progression side. Really pleased with the difficulty and way the puzzles are going to work out. So many animations. Around 120 views so far and only completed one act.

Kept the formula for alternative outcomes with 3 major decisions/situations that can be resolved in more than one way and how that will affect the ending. People seemed to like the 'court case' element of Brownie's Adventure 1.

Created (I think) a very unique fighting/battle system using lots of integers and bools that reward the players exploration and problem solving with some basic combat abilities. I just really wanted this. I started exploring ways to do it in my previous (unfinished of yet) game 'Our place in time' and I think I have it working just the way I want right now.

Looking forward to working on this and I am hoping if I continue working at the discconcerting speed that I prefer (no social life, every waking minute not at work spent working on this) it should be done by the end of Summer 2024.

Thanks for your time - please enjoy the little snippets so far.

Open to feedback or suggestions - always helpful.

Thank you
