I'm very interested in the level editor - can we export any levels we make and post them online? I could see this having sort of "add-on packs" where somebody could sit down and make 10 or so levels in a weekend and them put them online.

By the way - this game has me excited.

You can export levels and post them online and not only! There's even a tool which groups them in a handy single file, so you can design a set of level and let the player play 'em in the order you wish, unlocking level after level so as to not spoil the fun!

By the way, your Lode sprites/backgrounds are one of the most beautifully coloured things I've seen in a long time, good luck with it!

This is absolutely fantastic news! I am more keen than ever to see this game released now!

Add the ability to put your own intermission screens and descriptions, and I'll rank you Lvl60 ScriptMaster (possibly IMBA)!

(and yes, this is a barely unveiled attempt to return this thread to the position it was yesterday!)

Bump: added a new screenshot with some tiles and a WiP background (Spiral)

Bump!

Due to some forum issues the main post had to be trimmered down. I'll switch it to the previous, longer, version as soon as the problem with the boards is solved.

For now, enjoy this marvellous wallpaper-teaser by our talented artist, Ghost:

Say "hi!" to our heroine!

Then by all means do not let this thread drop below 50 mp/h!!!  :D

It was a pleasure to design this, and hopefully it will adorn the odd desktop.

Dualnames

FFS, i read this thread a million times, you've seen me at IRC ags channel and haven;t told me a word about it, bic. I just noticed it was you making another game.. Hehehe. Good luck with this one. Me and Ghost will pray.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Consider mine adorned. I wish there were more AGS game desktop wallpapers around but, hey, I have this one now :D.

*shoves into thread*

A general "AGS Wallpaper" would be a fun Competition  ::)

Another day another screenshot! This one with a new & improved gui, a level by CodeJunkie and some new blocks for you to see!

The project is running smoothly but, since we're planning to make a quite long main quest, we still need one ore more additional Level Designers. The editor is easy as a piece of cake to use and the game's witty, so volounteer now!

I thought i was about to be the designer.. :-\ :'(

Proud to say we have a new level designer on board: Dualnames from ShoRyuKen! That means more levels, more variety, a more challenging gameplay and probably a boost which will allow us to match the expected release date!

thinking it twice, he was the one who asked CJ to add the File.Delete() function! I loved that, so thanks CJ for implementing and Dual for pointing out!

Me and bic have been talking a lot even before he started doing colourwise. Anyway, bic's just this guy you know. I'm glad to join the already great team, and from my part we will have things wrapped up soon enough. I'll be even beta testing my levels for free. Anyway, not to bother you around. I'm glad I'm on this. And more glad than bicilotti is.

People don't recognise me that's why i carry this.

I edited my previous post and it added this as a new response

What happened? Did someone turned the light off?

Another day, another screenshot and welcome to our third level designer, Mazoliin! With this last addition the team is finally complete. I can objectively state that, if everything works out as planned, we bill be able to anticipate the deadline by a week or two.
