It was my very first AGS project. Needless to say it was one big mess. But I really like its idea, and the way it was intended to be implemented (but wasn't because I had no AGS experience at the moment).
About month ago I was digging around my old hard drive, unearthing various long forgotten treasures. Amongst these was IAB: The (official) Game.

Screenshots are located later in this post so as to interest you in reading rather than looking at pictures I drew.

FAQ:
Q: What is IAB?
A: He's hero of this game but not only it. He started as a hero of my short story, which I intended to turn into something bigger. But I didn't, even though public reaction was good. Instead I wanted to make a game (because digging around my hard drive I've found an apparently great tool for that - AGS 2.55). Here it is, more than three years in development, yay.

Q: So, it is based on your short story?
A: Yes and no, it was intended to be a prequel to a series of short stories (hence "00" in the title, as 01 would be the first story).

Q: Can I read the story?
A: Yes and no, it's available freely on my LiveJournal, but it's in Russian and I have no time to translate it :(. Contact someone else to dig it up and translate it for you.

And now for a couple of screenshots:

Demo:
Yeah, as I've started working on this a while back, I do have something to show you!

If you can't unpack this game, then sorry, you don't meet the required brain specifications for this game :(.

And the most important part:
As you may see, I used some crappy tunes as soundtrack (except title song, which is great and which I like). SO-O, if you want to write some musical score and has nothing better to do, pm me at once! Or e-mail, whatever do you prefer. If your mail gets past google's spam filter, I'll definitely read it!

Dualnames

Play this game. It;s awesome. The russian joke will make you laugh for hours.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Oh yeah, and anybody who can make a better animation cycles than I did are welcome too.

edit: That means pretty much everyone here :).

A nice start, but did it really take you three years to make a two-room demo?

p.s. the russian joke was genious

No it didn't :P

I've got more than that, but it has such an awful scripting so I'm basically redoing the thing. And this demo is merely a first step to a world domination "medium-length game" at least.
