Also ... please update the post so it tells what the game is about (as your hosting has exceeded it's bandwidth and we can't get more info from the site either!)

Was ANYBODY able to successfully download our Game Beta/Demo (Yes, 352 MB worth.)? And test out the game?

I told you to the other thread as well.

How do yo uexpect anyone will waste bandwith and time to download a demo about something that he knows nothing about?

I certianly won't be downloading 352 Mb, unless I know it's a really good thing (a movie, a well known game, or something someone told me it is good).

Sorry to dissapoint you, but 352 Mb is a lot!

Why is it so much? Most AGS games (full) are less than 100 Mb, even the long ones. How come this demo is sooooo big?

I appreciate your concerns about the fact that our game is 352 MB - personally, I wish it could be compressed somehow.

Could it be, that the pcx files, music files, sound & speech files (I used MIDI, WAV and some OGG files) were too big? Or could it be the Windows Media Video Files I included with my game?

I am very open minded and willing to make adjustments to the game, but I would really appreciate some specific help and advice in making a more compact game! After all, this game is only a sample! I fear that when it is completed, it will be huge!

Any helpful suggestions in making my game more playable will be appreciated greatly!

Not only.

WAV are also huge.

A 10 minute track is 10 Mb in ogg and 100 Mb in WAV. So depends onwhat you have inside.

What I suggest you do is to actually look allthe files you have in. If it is above 3-4 Mb take it out. Harsh but in the end 352 is simply huge, and noone, noone will download a 1 Gb AGS game! (when it's completed)

Actually, your game includes same animations viewed from your website and it can be cut out for sure.

1) Starting screen including the one that ask to press the esc.
I recommend using single screens with less animations.

Same with introduction screen.

When I kill the wolf with sword, the game freezes.

I hope this help.

By the way in addition with Darth comment, I suggest adding more description example if game is commercial or not. Since you have a promotional video, it might cause member to question.
