Allow to introduce myself:
I'm from Argentina (we speak spanish, so if I have any grammatic error, shut up ;-) ), and I've been making AGS games for 3 years. I've also been making an underground comic, called "The Green Cross", and finally decided to make the game (wich is almost finish)

The story: The Green Cross is a hospital, where psycho doctors work (they are the main characters).

The characters: There're 11 characters, you can play with 3 of them in the game:
*David Armstrong: He's the main doctor, stupid in life, but smart in medicine. He has some sort of hat, that covers half his head (upper part, from the nose)
*Peanut: His the surgeon in The Green Cross, a total tyran butcher... like every surgeon ;-)   His name is Peanut, because his head is shaped-like a peanut. He's very sarcastic and intelligent
*The Nurse: She doesn't have any name, she's just... The Nurse. She wears the classic nurse white hat, with a green cross on it. She's kinda hippie (loves cute animales), innocent in a weird way and not afraid to say what she's thinking

If you have read all the way to here, you must be interested! ;-)      Then let me tell you the story of the game:
You start playing as David, and Peanut and The Nurse tell you that the governor of their city is gaining votes promising to shut down the Green Cross if he wins (they don't have a very good reputation). You (David)must stop this from happen, by talking to the governor. But when you go to his office you see him talking to a very weird guy (he wears a hat!), and they're saying something about a secret, hidden under The Geen Cross...
...If you want to know the Secret, then read the next lines:
The secret is a machine called "The Incredible Infernal Machine of Doctor Confetti", you are never told who built it, or when, but you do find out what does it do.

The next is the mythology of the game:
There are 7 worlds (one above the other), when you die you instantly pass to the next one. We live in the second world, the Reality. Remember the guy who wears a hat? Well, he died 150 years ago, and passed it into the third world, the Bizarre. The "Incredible Infernal Machine of Doctor Confetti" (IIMODC from now on) was used by him to return to the Reality and...

...you wanna know why did he return to the Reality? PLAY THE GAME                 (soon, I promise it)

Thank you for reading all of this, I know it's long, but it's everything.

Here's a pic of a BG, with David Armstrong

Here's  another one; there's an episode where you play as The Nurse, and Freddy (the squared guy) follows you around:

I think the rules say you're supposed to show evidence of your progress, but I'm honestly not sure.  Just a warning that you'll probably get warned. :P  Looking forward to it.  We'd love to see just a character shot or a BG, for sure.

:)
That's like looking through a microscope at a bacterial culture and seeing a THOUSAND DANCING HAMSTERS!

Your whole planet is gonna blow up!  Your whole DAMN planet...

Heheheheh this looks demented & funny! :)

The game will be finished in three days, but it will be in spanish. The english version will take me about a week, so you'll be playing it in less than 10 days

Other stuff you might care:
*The game will have an autorun
*The game will have a self-installer
*If you don't want the self-installer, you can install it manually
*If you're taken prisoner by some crazy cult, pretend you have already been brain-washed, and when they send you to collect apples or something, just run away...
*The game will have an uninstaller
*The game will come with a ReadMe
*That ReadMe includes the Solutions of the game
*If you read the Solutions when you don't need to, it won't be fun to play the game.

Rik_Vargard

wow, sounds serious...  ;D

Autorun and stuff! Heh good point there... where do you find those auto-installers and all the rest?

And why do you release the solution with the game? ???

For the installer, I use a program called Inno Setup 4 (http://www.jrsoftware.org/), and for the autorun, I use another one called Cd Start 1.08 (can't remember where I got it)
I'm thinking in putting the solutions in a zip file, with a password to open it. And to get that password... I don't know, just e-mail me or something
Besides, I believe in the players selfcontrol (should I?) ;)

Rik_Vargard

To find the password, they have to solve a puzzle... har arrr...  8)

Thx for the soft info!  ;D

Peter Thomas

The game is finished in spanish, i'll upload it to my website in a couple of hours (after the "final touch").
The english version will be finished in 10 days or less

Kairus

This game really looked promising, and you said it was ready (at least in Spanish) and you were going to upload it. That was a month ago, any news? What happened since then?
