Hello everyone.

First of all, I wanna say that AGS seems to be an awesome application. Thanks to all who have contributed to it or made games with for our enjoyment.

I have a technical question, that probably can be answered by an experienced user.

I am currently looking into various engines and systems to make an AdventureGame and found out that AGS will perfectly serve my needs, IF the following can be done without stressing the system too much so that fluent and smooth gamplay is still possible:

An important feature in this game is that I can drag the invetory items around onto objects and players (No problem, I read the threads about that topic).
But very important is that I want to drag inventory items onto other inventory items and even scroll the inventory while dragging an item (by moving the pressed mousecursor with the item over areas that make the inventory scroll) so that for example the first item can be combined with the last item.

Remeber, I am not wanting to know how it can be done (I can figure that out), but if AGS supports this feature in a manner that the game still runs fine without any "hickups" or slowdowns.

I hope I have stated my question in a manner so that you understand what I mean. If not, please tell me, I will then try to make it clearer.

That's definitely possible.

Get started by looking up Mouse.IsKeyPressed() and repeatedly_execute.

Thanks a lot.

You just made AGS have another user.  ;D
