having made a template of a game i reloaded the template for new game.. unfortunately the starting room does not get included in the game folder list if rooms and ags errors 'unable to load room as room[n] is of another game.. the room shows up in the editor.
any ideas?
What do you mean by "the starting room does not get included in the game folder list if rooms", what is the "game folder list of rooms"?
If that's a project tree, how does it show up in the editor?

I mean crm & asc files in the game folder...
Are not visible in game folder itself but visible in editor tree..
All i did was make a template from a game that was ok..loaded that template for a new game and thats when the error appeared saying that the room to start was in another game...
What version of AGS did you make the template in, and what is the file name of missing room?
i made the game in 3.4.0.12

Are you sure there was such file in the old game?
If you create template from old game again, will it have same problem again?

i made a new template and created new game from it and it was ok... not sure why it failed the first tome...
