Title: Character Scaling
Post by: SQColi on Tue 10/06/2003 18:26:03
Hey guys Im having a little trouble explaining what I need in words but here goes.
Is there any way to scale your character down so I can make it look like hes in a big city. For example in Quest For Glory 3 theres a screen where hes in the big city and the character is very small making it appear the backround is a huge city and once you decide what building you want to go into it changes to the normal size character and backround. Aside from having to redraw each view of my character smaller is there anyway to scale him down for a backround so it looks like hes in a much bigger scene.
thanks

When you create a walkable area in the AGS editor, there's an option to change the zoom level. Changing this will affect the size at which the character is drawn on screen when they are standing on that area (ie : 50% zoom will have the character apear at half it's size).
