I'm making new characters and my question is, is there any program I can use to make characters other than adding every individual sprite to the game to compile one?  Because I see an export character option...

no, you have to do characters that way (adding every individual sprite...)

there is the idea of a tile sheet sprite import, but doing every sprite is simple enough. its what i do, as do almost every other ags'er
