Title: Creating backgrounds (I need a prof)
Post by: on Sun 15/01/2006 15:58:28
Hi people,

I'm new at AGS and I want to make a game, but I'm not that good with drawing backgrounds. If there is anyone in here who wants to help me, please do that. I need it so much.

Wrong forum.  Try here (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=24117.0).

I'm not too much of an artist myself, so sorry I can't be of help there.  And welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the fourms, but yes, this is the wrong place.

Try the thread monkey linked to, or look for someone with the approriate icon under their name.
(http://www.barnettcollege.com/ags/backgrounds.gif) This one for Background Art, and possibly
(http://www.barnettcollege.com/ags/tutoring.gif) this one, for Tutoring.
Also, check out the Critic's Lounge (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?board=4.0), and just practice until you feel more confident. Provided the rest of the game is OK, no-one will mind the graphics too much - and having a complete game under your belt will make people more likely to help out with a bigger project.
