Ive read in the manual global messages are not supported anymore nevertheless when I create a game translation I find there is a long list with the typical default global messages:

I'd just like to know if I can remove this horrible list. Can I?
I thought it was due to I was using the default template but now I'm using the empty template and I still get this list.
Does it really matter? Just tell your translator not to bother with them... And the hotspots I believe are from your first room, not the Global messages.
[Edit]: Just checked, the hotspots are from the room. You could always go through and delete all the hotspot names in a room, and then save it as a room template. But since the translation only lists those once, it doesn't really matter, does it?
Also, if you must get rid of these, you could try creating a game in 2.72 empty game template and delete them from the Global Messages, then update to AGS 3.x

Eh, you can't. At least for a game I created with 2.72 imported it into 3.0 then 3.0.1 ecc till 3.1.2, not sure if those exist if you're creating with empty template on 3.0.x, but they probably do.
