Post by: cece0808 on Thu 12/01/2006 19:04:46
I downloaded some templates for ags from http://www.freewebs.com/skimbleshanks/ resource page. The files that should contain new inventory, GUI, dialog style and stuff, are .AGT files. How can i use them with ags?

Well, I think that if you just put the AGT files in the same directory that the editor is, then just open the editor and choose 'make new game', you'll see the list of template on offer...

See Also: Templates: What are they and how to use them (http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/index.php/AGS_Editor_%26_User_Interface#Templates:_What_they_are.2C_and_how_to_use_them), from the BFAQ.

Basically, what Colxfile said. Also, once you start a new game with the template, you could simply export any characters, GUIs, etc you want and import them into your game.
