Hi,

I have a few questions that are stumping me. I've looked over the tutorials and stuff, but I can't find what I'm looking for.

The situation:

- I'm making a game at 800x600
- I'm using the basic default Sierra GUI

The problem:

- At 800x600, the icons provided in the default GUI don't stretch all the way over to the right side of the screen, leaving about three inches of blank space from the "question mark" button and the right side of the screen

My questions:

- How do I eliminate that blank space? I only the need the icons that are provided in the GUI already, so one thought I had was I could just create a cosmetic button with the name of my game or something that would fill that space... but the problem is I can't figure out how to put an additional button in the GUI area (all I can do is replace the existing buttons).

- Also, on a related note, I want to replace the boring Sierra buttons with more exciting-looking custom ones. In an 800x600 game, what should the height and width of each button be in pixels?

Thank you!!

Make new buttons that are to scale. Or, add something to that space, like a status or the game's title or something.

Maybe I'm just being an idiot. Tell me if this makes sense. The screen is 800 pixels wide. I want to put 10 buttons in the GUI. I should just make 10 button icons that are 80 pixels wide, right?

TerranRich

Yes. 10 buttons x 80 pixels each = 800 pixels total. Why? Is it not working?
