I have nothing to go on, no clue on how to script fight scenes, and I can't find anything on the web. I NEED help! ???

If you don't even know how to show a character's animation then you should probably learn more about AGS and scripting, before trying to make a fight scene..

It all depends on what you want to show during the fight scene. All it involves is animating one character, then the other, then the other... or animating them at the same time... depending on what kind of effect you want to go with.

I highly suggest using storyboards to plain out your fight scene, and then figure out how each character will be animated, when, and where.

If you want help for scripting you need to tell us exactly what you want to do!

For starters, is it an interactive fight scene, or just a cutscene?

If it's a cutscene, then you can just make the animation and then play the animation on a character or room object.

If it's interactive, then you need to give us some idea of how you want the fight to work.  Is it turn based, like an RPG?  Do you click repeatedly on the character to punch him?  Do you control the character using the keyboard?

Help us help you please!  :)

Welcome to the forums by the way.

Ok then, I want the character to come over in a cutscene and then, once the cutscene finishes, I want the player character to fight the villian by clicking repeatedly on the villian's body. I just want to know what type of animation that would be, (for example; animation of him punching or something), and I need to know how to set the life bar so I know when the character will be killed.

I want to make a fight scene like the ones in Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

If anyone can tell me how to script the fight afterwards aswell, that would be appreciated. -Indosity-
