Hello,

When I was trying to import a certain .ttf Font today, I got this message:
Quote
Unable to import the font.

Unable to load the TTF font file. The renderer was unable to load the font.

What does this mean? Is there any way to fix this or will I have to make a completely new .FONT with SCI studio?

It might seem like an obvious question but does the font work normally in other programs (such as Notepad/Wordpad/MS Word/etc.)?

I don't know why it would have failed to load. Is this a standard font, one you've downloaded, or where did it come from? If you downloaded it then maybe try redownloading it...

Other than that are you able to load other TTF fonts? If so that might indicate a problem with that particular font file.

It might even be possible there's some DRM-esque implementation of TTF (I don't know) that could be preventing it from being loaded by AGS.

To answer your question in order: Yes, downloaded, yes.

I'll try to redownload it, but I'm sceptic that'll work...

Edit: That's just weird. I tried to import the new one, and it doesn't display any warning - but the font doesn't get replaced either way.

I had that same problem very recently. I just gave up on the font in question.

Can you point us to the name of the font and where to download it (provided it does not violate any copyright)? Maybe we can have a look.
