Title: Trouble testing my game [SOLVED]

I have a problem running my game. I have only made the first room and the places my character can walk, but every time I try running my game I get this message. warning acwin.exe not found. unable to build user.exe file. ???. BTW I have the latest version of ags and I have windows xp proffesional. thanks ;D

Well, do you have acwin.exe in the AGS folder?

You did extract the AGS ZIP file to a new folder, rather than trying to run it from within the zip, right?

Also, by "the latest", you don't mean the BETA do you?  Because the BETA only contains files that have been changed so if you are using a BETA version you have to extract it over another version (i.e., download the latest official version from the main website, then extract the BETA files over that).

yes that was the problem pumaman :P.
anyway now this message turns up when I try and run my game.

unable to initalize your audio hardware [problem digital sound driver not found]. My game does work but without sound.
I also have no sound when I play flash movies aswell. plz help ;D

It looks like your problem is not AGS related, it's problem with your sound card driver. The best thing would be reinstalling it.

BorisZ is right, your second question isn't directly related to AGS anymore. Continue the discussion in the General forum if you must.
