Title: Why is the music still playing?
Post by: ManicMatt on Sat 10/12/2005 22:32:48
Hello again!  ;D

I can't find any mention of this in the forums or the wiki guides...

Right, there are three adjoining rooms. In the middle, there is an mp3 being played. (Of a football match) That's set to loud. In the room to the left of it, the mp3 is set again, but to quietest. in the room to the right of the middle room, is no defined music. But when you walk in there the mp3 stays, and is the same volume as the middle room. If I SPAWN straight into the right hand room from the editor, the mp3 is not heard. Why is this occuring? I want there to be silence in this room!

I have music set to crossfade. The music was set via the user interface, not any scripting.

Thanks for any help! Again!

Use "StopMusic();" in "Player enters screen" in the rooms interactions.

Oh, okay thanks! (Still, why is it doing that? It's never done that before!)

It always leaves the current music playing in the next room, if there is no other music defined.

::)  Oh poo I've just looked back on my earlier rooms and spotted that I told it to stop the music...

Can someone delete this thread please? I need caffiene here too!
